Offline file transfer for every device

Send files with light.
No internet needed.

One screen shows a stream of codes. The other device reads them with its camera. Photos, files, folders, text and passwords move across, even in airplane mode, with nothing to pair and no account.

Free to use. Pro adds Max speed, passwords and paper, once, from $9.99.

The AirGapped mark: a code split by a gap, with data crossing it

Point. Beam. Done.

Nothing to pair, nothing to sign in to, nothing that touches a server.

Pick what to send

Files, a whole folder, a photo, text or links. Or share straight from any app into AirGapped.

Show the codes

Your screen fills with codes that change many times a second. Missed a few? The stream keeps making fresh ones, so nothing is lost.

Read and check

The other device points its camera, rebuilds the files and shows a fingerprint. If it matches yours, every byte arrived.

Three ways across the gap

Codes

No network at all

Screen to camera. Works between any two devices, offline computers included. Best for text, keys, documents and photos.

Wi-Fi

Big files, fast

On the same network, devices talk directly, encrypted with a 4-digit PIN. Nothing goes through the internet.

Paper

One printed page

Turn recovery codes, a key or a note into a page of codes that any AirGapped app reads back, years later. Pro.

Made for places where the network is the problem

Offline and air-gapped computers

Get a file on or off a machine that must never touch a network. No USB stick to carry malware, no cable, no bridge.

Labs, clinics, newsrooms

Move a document off a locked-down computer without plugging anything in, and check the fingerprint to prove it arrived intact.

Phone to laptop, no cloud

Photos and notes go straight from one screen to the other camera. Nothing is uploaded, synced or kept by anyone else.

Keys, seeds and recovery codes

Password-protect them and print one page. Store it in a drawer or a safe; read it back with any phone.

Travel and airplane mode

No roaming, no hotspot, no shared Wi-Fi to trust. If both devices have a screen and a camera, it works.

Mixed devices

iPhone to Windows, Android to Mac, Chrome to anything. Every AirGapped app speaks to every other one.

servers in the path

No cloud, no relay, no account. Your files go from one screen to one camera and nowhere else.

256-bit

fingerprints

Every transfer ends with a BLAKE3 fingerprint on both screens. Match them and you know every byte arrived.

Argon2id

password protection

With Pro, data is encrypted on your device with XChaCha20-Poly1305 before it becomes codes. File names too.

No ads and no tracking. Anonymous usage counts are off unless you turn them on, and they never include files or names. Privacy policy.

AirGapped Pro

Max speed, passwords and paper.

Pay once: $9.99 for one device, $34.99 for five. Activate once, then it works offline.

Questions

How do I send a file from my phone to my computer without internet?

Install AirGapped on both. Pick the file on the phone and tap Show codes, then open Receive on the computer and point its webcam at the phone. No network, cable or account.

Does it use Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or the cloud?

Codes and paper use only a screen and a camera, so they work in airplane mode. The optional Wi-Fi mode stays on your local network and is encrypted with a PIN.

How fast is it?

Text and documents take seconds. A phone photo takes under a minute once AirGapped makes it smaller. For videos and big folders, use Wi-Fi.

Does the receiver need to pay?

No. Receiving, opening password-protected items and reading paper copies are always free.

Can I trust what I received?

Both screens show the same fingerprint when every byte arrived. If one bit differs, the fingerprint changes completely.
